FAQ
Questions, answered.
What is the difference between PM-only, labour and comprehensive cover?
PM-only cover typically includes planned preventive maintenance visits at agreed intervals, with repairs charged separately. Labour cover typically adds engineer time for repairs, with parts charged. Comprehensive cover typically includes PM, repairs, labour and parts, within agreed exclusions. Prometix lets you set the cover for each device or fleet.
What is the difference between a response time and a fix time?
A response time is how quickly you commit to respond after a fault is reported. A fix time is how quickly the equipment must be back in service. Service contracts often set both by priority, and Prometix records the agreed response and fix targets for each contract.
Can we invoice from service contracts in Prometix?
Yes. Prometix generates invoices from jobs and contracts, with outstanding balances and aged debt visible, and connects with finance and ERP systems including Sage, QuickBooks, SAP and FreeAgent.
